Scharbel Machluf (1828-1898) war ein maronitischer Mönch im Libanon.
1977 wurde er von Papst Paul VI. heiliggesprochen. Am 22. Jänner 2016
übergab der maronitische Patriarch Kardinal Bechara Boutros Rai im
Rahmen eines feierlichen Gottesdienstes eine Reliquie des hl. Scharbel
an unsere Kirche.
Diese Reliquie hat nun zusammen mit einer Ikone des großen Wundertäters ihren Platz am Altar der Markgrafenkapelle. Der Gedenktag wird am 24. Juli begangen.
